Eagle Cottages at Gulf State Park

Just like the original cottages built by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) in the 1930s when the park opened, the 11 cottages at Gulf State Park line the water’s edge of beautiful Lake Shelby in the heart of the largest unbroken stretch of protected natural areas along the U.S. Gulf Coast. Each Cottage is decorated with art commissioned by local Alabama artists and accommodates up to six total guests. Guests enjoy daily breakfasts, guided outdoor experiences with the Park’s master naturalists, and bicycles to explore the 28 miles of trails.
