Montgomery Hill Baptist Church Cemetery

Built in 1854, Montgomery Hill Baptist Church is the oldest working church in Baldwin County. The building was constructed in the Greek revival style with wooden pegs for $1,400. Square nails were later added for strength. The original front door key is kept in an artifact case at the front of the building. The pews, which are still in use, are the original pine board seats. There is a historical cemetery on the site as well as the original slave loft. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
