Gulf State Park Interpretive Center

Located at the beach pavilion, the Gulf State Park Interpretive Center was designed to honor the dune landscape it is built within. It is an inviting gateway to facilitating connection to the natural environment and the nine habitats within the Park. The open-air Interpretive Center features engaging interpretive exhibits and is Alabama’s most environmentally friendly building. As a facility that generates its own energy and water, the Center holds the world’s most rigorous building certifications: LEED© Platinum, FORTIFIED Commercial™, and Living Building Petal.
